So I was randomly looking at my Sonic OC's(Liv) comments and ran across a random comment(that wasn't even a comment really) That only had a link in it. Naturally curious I looked at it and found a rather insulting deviantion that I guess was directed to my character Liv or something. Anyway in the end something good did come out of it and I found a random artist

Her art is really cool and interesting, not to mention good. So I added her to my watch list, but then as I went back to her main profile page a journal labeled 'Sonic Character Quiz!' caught my eye. OMG! My first journal! *shifty eyes*

Anyway I've been looking around and seeing so many amazing Sonic OC's. So I want to just say everyone who tries hard with their Sonic OC... Keep going. You're doing amazing. And even if I haven't favorited your character, if you have one, that doesn't mean I'm not talking to you. It just means I haven't run across your character yet.

And then I look at my Sonic characters... I keep having them pop into my mind. I have so many cause I just love the series. But as I look at all these other amazing Sonic characters then look at my own I keep seeing that my characters don't look very good and also they tend to not be very creative in their clothing design or in their design in general. At least in my eyes.

Is this normal? To think your work isn't good when you look at other artist's amazing stuff?

And does my best style(in my opinion)... my Sonic style look not-so-good to you guys?

Please tell me. I sort of need some opinion from someone (support or criticism... just be honest please) on this right now cause deep down inside I feel as if I'm loosing my creative touch.
